Clift Farm development continues: Here’s what’s planned for booming Madison area

Breland Companies President Joey Ceci said the Clift Farm community that is experiencing what he calls explosive commercial growth on the north side of U.S. 72 in Madison County is a site “that wasn’t supposed to exist.”

In fact, previous owner Jack Clift had hoped Clift Farm – a family operation – would stay true to its name as it had been for generations dating back to the 1800s.

But instead of crops springing up from the ground, there’s the Maplestreet Biscuit Company, a breakfast place by Cracker Barrel that is expected to open March 22.

CAVA, a Mediterranean-style restaurant, and Big Daddy’s Burger Bar will not be too far behind. They are expecting to open sometime in May, followed by Jim ‘N’ Nick’s BBQ over the summer.
