Local outdoor enthusiasts say Church of the Highlands activity has been negatively impacting their hiking experience for months due to “prison-like” fencing running parallel to a trail near Grants Mill Road in Irondale adorned with signs that ensure 24-hour video surveillance.

“The fence looks like a prison fence,” said hiker Ginny Brown. “…Who wants to hike under surveillance?”
