Chick-fil-A trying something completely off menu

Chick-fil-A will have a new menu of sorts.

According to Deadline, the famous eatery is working on its own streaming service with plans to debut original content.

Per the report, Chick-fil-A is in talks with production companies and studios with the idea of creating “family-friendly shows,” including unscripted content. In fact, there is already an agreement for a 10-episode order for a gameshow.

Sources told Deadline budgets for unscripted programming is in the range of $400,000 per half-hour.

The thinking is that it makes sense to combine the Chick-fil-A brand, which operates more than 3,000 restaurants across the country, with a TV industry that has struggled in recent years.
