Chick-fil-A is testing a new sandwich: Where can you try it?
Chick-fil-A is testing out a new grilled chicken sandwich but it’s only available in two cities – for now.
The mega-popular restaurant chain is testing the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich in Indianapolis and Lexington, Kentucky. The sandwich is made with a lemon herb marinated boneless breast of chicken, topped with pepper jack cheese, green leaf lettuce and bacon hand-tossed in a brown sugar and pepper blend. The sandwich is served on a buttered and toasted maple-flavored brioche bun.
“The sweetness of the maple syrup complements the smoky flavors of the grilled chicken and the hint of spice from the pepper jack cheese and pickles,” said Christy Cook, Chick-fil-A chef and creator of the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich.
While the new chicken sandwich isn’t available nationwide, there are some new treats you can get at a restaurant new you.
Starting June 12, the much-loved Peach Milkshake will be back at restaurants, as will a White Peach Sunjoy. You can also combine the White Peach flavor with lemonade, Frosted Lemonade and iced tea.
In addition to the beverages, Chick-fil-A is rolling out its Spicy Chicken Biscuit nationwide. The entrée features a boneless chicken breast seasoned with peppers and served on a buttermilk biscuit. The “fan-favorite” will become a permanent menu item at all locations, Chick-fil-A said.
