Chick-fil-A is testing a new sandwich: Here’s what’s different

Fans of Chick-fil-A sandwiches are used to soft, fluffy buns. But pretzel buns could be making their way to the fast food chain.

Chick-fil-A is testing a Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich for a limited time at participating restaurants in Raleigh, N.C. The tavern-style sandwich sports a boneless breast of chicken served on a toasted cross-cut pretzel bun with green leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, seasoned cheddar cheese, and strips of applewood smoked bacon.

Guests will be able to purchase the sandwich starting on April 8. If customer feedback goes well, Chick-fil-A will roll the Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich out nationwide in the future, according to a press release.

April 8 also marks the start of Chick-fil-A’s new seasonal spring menu– the Cherry Berry beverage line. The new line, which features a pop of mixed berry flavors, boasts four drinks, the Cherry Berry Sunjoy, the Cherry Berry Lemonade, the Cherry Berry Iced Tea, and the Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade.

Here’s a look at the menu:

Cherry Berry Sunjoy: A mix of Chick-fil-A’s lemonade and sweetened iced tea with cherry, blueberry and cranberry flavors

Cherry Berry Lemonade: A mix of classic Chick-fil-A Lemonade and cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors.

Cherry Berry Iced Tea: The cherry Berry Iced Tea mixes classic iced tea with cherry, blueberry and cranberry flavors.

Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade: A combination of lemonade and signature Icedream® dessert with cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors.
