Watch for a two-story, 100-seat restaurant, Gulf Shores Ale House, to be built at 645 Gulf Shores Parkway at Windmill Ridge Road in Gulf Shores, according to planning records. The former Re/Max office building on the site will be demolished to make way for the 3,687-square-foot restaurant. The new eatery will be just south of the Original Oyster House restaurant. Re/Max of Gulf Shores has relocated to a new office on West 2nd Street in Gulf Shores.

- A local investor paid $380,000 for a 3,800-square-foot building and 1.25 acres at 2318 Wolf Ridge Road in Whistler, AL., according to Chris Harle of White-Spunner Realty, who represented the buyer. Joseph McCullough of McCullough Realty worked for the seller. The new owner plans to use part of the property for his business and will lease the remaining space.
- Gulf Regional Early Childhood Services (GRECS) paid $360,000 for a 10,800-square-foot building at 2420 U..S. 31 in Bay Minette, according to court records. Josh W. Hall of CRE Mobile represented the buyer.
- GRECS implements professional development programs for children and providers to increase the availability of quality early learning child care programs. Keith Vaughan of KV Properties represented the seller.
- Elite Urgent Care has leased 2,000 square feet of space at 1 S. Royal St., in downtown Mobile, according to David Dexter of CRE Mobile, who represented the tenant. The clinic at the southeast corner of Royal and Dauphin streets is scheduled to open this summer. Cameron Weavil of The Weavil Company represented the landlord.
- Alabama School of Nail Technology & Cosmetology has leased 2,000 square feet of space at 14 Ferry Ave., in Saraland, according to Josh W. Hall of CRE Mobile, who represented the landlord. The school has been training students for more than a decade and also has a location in Jackson, AL.
