Charles Barkley jokingly threatens Stephen A. Smith with butt ‘whooping:’ ‘This ain’t First Take’

Charles Barkley was in mid-season form Thursday when he jokingly called out Stephen A. Smith for his antics during coverage of the NBA In-Season Tournament.

Both Barkley and Smith were in Las Vegas for the festivities and shared time on “NBA Countdown.”

The former Auburn star referred to Michael Wilbon as a “mentor,” called Malika Andrews “fantastic” and also mentioned Adrian Wojnarowski and Bob Myers.

At the end, Barkley directed his attention to Smith.

“Let me tell you something, Stephen A.,” Barkley said. “If you come over here with all that loud ass talking today — hey, this ain’t ‘First Take’. This gonna be the first to ass whooping you take if you come over here with that loud ass talking.”

The moment took the Internet by story.

Smith, as you can see, laughed along with Barkley.
