Charles Barkley, in hilarious fashion, says he used to clean his uniform by showering in it
Charles Barkley had his colleagues laughing in a way that only Sir Charles could do.
On Friday, during March Madness coverage on CBS, the former Auburn and NBA star explained how he would clean his uniform early in his NBA career. The story wasn’t nothing short of hilarious.
Barkley told the CBS team he used to shower in his NBA uniform after games to get it clean.
“I’m so old, we used to take a shower in our uniforms,” Barkley said.
As you might expect, Kenny Smith, Clark Kellogg and the guys were skeptical.
“When I first got to the NBA, we flew commercial,” Barkley said. “So, when you played the night before and flew the next morning, when was you exactly going to get your uniform clean? You had to wash your uniform yourself. So, after the game, when you got to your room, you took a shower in your uniform and dried it, and dropped it on the commercial airline the next day.”
Kellogg shared there were other ways to clean a uniform.
“It’s easier to do it that way,” Barkley said.
The reaction from Barkley’s colleagues is hilarious.
