The entertainment world lost several big names in February, including Raquel Welch, Richard Belzer, Burt Bacharach and Paco Rabanne. Here’s a look at celebrities who died during the second month of the year.

RAQUEL WELCH
Who: Actress. model and Hollywood sex symbol, known for her work in movies such as “Fantastic Voyage,” “One Million Years B.C.,” “Myra Breckenridge,” “The Last of Sheila,” “Bandolero!” and more. A Golden Globe winner for “The Three Musketeers,” Welch also made many TV appearances.
Died: Feb. 15 at age 82.

BURT BACHARACH
Who: Pop composer, arranger, conductor and producer, known for creating hits such as “Walk on By,” “Do You Know the Way to San Jose,” “Alfie,” “I Say a Little Prayer,” “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” “This Guy’s in Love with You” and more. Famously worked with lyricist Hal David and singer Dionne Warwick. Won many awards, including Oscars and Grammys.
Died: Feb. 8 at age 94.

RICHARD BELZER
Who: Standup comedian and actor, earned fame for his role as a cynical police detective, John Munch, on TV’s “Homicide: Life on the Street” and “Law & Order: SVU.”
Died: Feb. 19 at age 78.

STELLA STEVENS
Who: Film and TV actress, best known for roles in movies such as “The Nutty Professor,” “Girls! Girls! Girls!,” “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father” and “The Poseidon Adventure.” Widely regarded as a Hollywood bombshell in 1960s, but fought against that image and struggled with sexism in movie industry.
Died: Feb. 17 at age 84.

Who: Emmy-nominated actress, best known for her role as Fay Furillo in TV series “Hill Street Blues,” had many other credits in TV and film.
Died: Feb. 18 at age 83.

PACO RABANNE
Who: Spanish fashion designer known for unconventional ideas, use of futuristic elements and penchant for unusual materials, including plastic and metal. Created costumes for Jane Fonda in “Barbarella,” designed jewelry, led a fragrance empire.
Died: Feb. 3 at age 88.

KYLE JACOBS
Who: Country music songwriter and producer. Starred with wife, “American Idol” standout Kellie Pickler, in CMT reality series.
Died: Feb. 17 at age 49. Found dead at the singer’s home in Nashville, an apparent suicide.

Who: TV actor best known for his role on TV series “NYPD Blue,” playing Theo Sipowicz, son of Detective Andy Sipowicz (Dennis Franz).
Died: Feb. 11, cause unconfirmed.

- Carlos Saura, pioneering Spanish filmmaker, known for movies such as “Raise Ravens,” “Deprisa Deprisa,” “Carmen” and “El Amor Brujo.” Died Feb. 10 at age 91.
- Jansen Panettiere, actor with credits in TV and movies, younger brother of actress Hayden Panettiere. Died Feb. 19 at age 28, of cardiac issues.
- Cody Longo, actor and singer, known for roles on “Days of Our Lives” and “Hollywood Heights.” Died Feb. 8 at age 34, most likely from accidental alcohol poisoning, according representative Alex Gittelson.
- Scott Alexander, magician who competed on “America’s Got Talent.” Died Feb. 5 at age 52, after suffering a stroke.
- Alicia Allain, filmmaker and music producer, wife of actor John Schneider of “The Dukes of Hazzard.” Died Feb. 21 at age 53, after a battle with breast cancer.
- Dorian “Zev” Kweller, aspiring musician and son of singer-songwriter Ben Kweller. Died Feb. 27 at age 16, in a car accident.
