Casey White had a ‘Vicky’ tattoo, but feared she might have him killed, report states

After his capture in Evansville, Indiana, Casey White told investigators it was Vicky White’s idea to break him out of the Lauderdale County jail, according to a report by the Evansville Courier & Press.

Captured after Vicky White took her own life as they were pursued by police, Casey White said the former jailer did not believe he killed Connie Ridgeway in 2015, the report stated.

“Vicky asked White if he wanted to get out,” a summary of his interrogation stated.

“Casey White told interviewers he thought her offer was a ruse,” the Courier & Press report states.

“White thought it was a set-up as a way to get him on the outside to be killed,” the summary states.

Also during the interview, a U.S. Marshals Task Force member noticed Casey White had a tattoo on the inside of one of his wrists that said “Vicky.”

“It went across, it was in cursive… It’s not small.”

It was unclear, the notes state, how he got it.
