Car crashes into Florence Cracker Barrel
A car crashed into a Cracker Barrel in Florence on Friday, leaving a hole in the side of the restaurant but no injuries.
Florence Police officers told WAFF that someone was parking their car when their accelerator got stuck, causing them to hit several parked cars before hitting one next to the building, sending that car through the wall.
Two women who were inside the restaurant told the news outlet that the crash sounded “like a bomb went off.”
Florence Police told WHNT that the car crashed into the Cracker Barrel located on Cox Creek Parkway around 10:57 a.m.
The restaurant still has not reopened after the incident.
