A California woman was killed in an ATV crash Sunday afternoon in Bibb County.

Zelina R. Rosales, 31, was driving a Can-Am Commander ATV when, at 4:30 p.m., the vehicle left the road and struck a ditch.

The wreck happened on Lawley Junction Road in Bibb County, about 10 miles north of the Chilton County line, said ALEA State Trooper Cpl. Reginal King.

Rosales, of San Diego, died on the scene.

Her passenger, 25-year-old Luis Alberto Saucedo Barahona, of New York, was taken to Bibb Medical Center in Centreville. The severity of his injuries was not released.

The investigation is ongoing.
