Built-to-order salad franchise looking to expand into Alabama
A Houston-based restaurant chain offering “built-to-order” salads wants to expand into Alabama.
Salata has more than 100 restaurants nationwide, more than 10 in Georgia and is scouting for opportunities in Birmingham and Montgomery, to start.
Salata offers salads, wraps, soups, teas, and lemonades, with more than 50 toppings, including fresh fruits, vegetables and proteins prepared in-house daily, with house-made proprietary dressings.
“We are thrilled to bring Salata to Alabama and introduce our unique, customizable dining experience to the vibrant communities of Birmingham and Montgomery,” Salata President Michele Maerz said. “Alabama represents a significant growth opportunity for our brand, and we look forward to partnering with passionate franchisees who share our commitment to providing fresh, healthy meal options to our guests.”
Salata also has a loyalty program with its mobile app, where customers receive one point for every dollar spent at Salata. Every 100 points earns guests a $7 salad kitchen credit, and app users have exclusive access to bonus rewards opportunities such as double points weeks.
Salata is actively looking for entrepreneurs interested in a 10-year commitment. Those interested need to have a net worth of $1 million, with $300,000 in liquid assets.
