Bryce Young signs deal with Jordan Brand, Nike says, after inking Snickers contract

Carolina quarterback and former Alabama star Bryce Young is signing an endorsement deal with Jordan Brand, Nike announced Thursday.

The 21-year-old, who was the No. 1 overall pick in Thursday night’s NFL Draft, won the Heisman Trophy in 2021 after an impressive season in which he threw for 4,872 yards and 47 touchdowns.

Jordan Brand has signed Young to a multi-year footwear and apparel deal. The brand posted pictured pictures of Young in Jumpman gear on its official Instagram on Thursday morning.

According to Fox Business, Jordan Brand keeps its roster of NFL athletes limited in an effort to maintain some level of exclusivity. The brand’s first signee dates to 1999, when star wide receiver Randy Moss inked a deal.

Other notable Jordan athletes who play in the NFL include Davante Adams, Dak Prescott, Cam Jordan, Devin White, Jarvis Landry, Tyrann Mathieu and Deebo Samuel.

During his time at Alabama, Young wore Nike.

In addition, SNICKERS® Ice Cream, part of Mars, announced a partnership with Young earlier this week and presents the “SNICKERS Bryce Cream Bar.”

This exclusive frozen treat will be available through Monday, May 1, nationwide.

“It’s a dream come true to see a SNICKERS Ice Cream bar with my name on it,” Young said in a press release. “I am beyond excited to be part of the 2023 NFL Draft alongside SNICKERS Ice Cream and can’t wait to share our SNICKERS Bryce Cream Bars with fans.”

The SNICKERS Bryce Cream Bar features the same creamy peanut butter ice cream, smooth caramel and crunchy peanuts covered in a chocolatey shell as the original SNICKERS Ice Cream bar, with a label inspired by Young.
