Bronny James, son of LeBron James, commits to USC; Auburn to host Trojans next season
Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, announced his commitment to the USC Trojans program on Saturday, posting the news on Instagram.
James, who prepped at Sierra Canyon High School (Calif.), chose USC over Ohio State and Oregon.
USC is scheduled for a trip to Auburn in December after the Bruce Pearl’s Tigers played the Trojans in Los Angeles last season. Auburn fell to USC 74-71 in Los Angeles at the Galen Center.
Bronny James, ranked No. 26 overall in the class of 2023 by 247Sports, s a 6-foot-3 combo guard who has been the focus of one of the most monitored recruiting battles for years. Bronny James was considering the G League Ignite.
In addition to James, USC has also landed the nation’s top ranked player in the class of 2023, point guard Isaiah Collier of Marietta (Ga.). Guard Boogie Ellis is also back.
