Get ready: The romance of Vivian and Edward is coming to a stage near you! We all know “Pretty Woman,” the movie. Now there’s “Pretty Woman: The Musical,” and critics are loving it.

The touring Broadway production is coming to two Alabama stages, in Huntsville and Birmingham.

You will find one change, however. Huntsville-Theater.com says: “… the creators of this upcoming musical know the original storyline won’t go down to well with modern audiences. Therefore, the Vivian we once knew will now be a stronger and a more independent heroine for the 21st century.”

How to find tickets

The touring company of “Pretty Woman: The Musical” is coming first to the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center for eight performances from April 30-May 5, 2024.

The show then comes to the Concert Hall in Huntsville’s Von Braun Center for five performances May 10-12, 2024.
