LSU head football coach Brian Kelly didn’t miss the chance at thanking a sponsor, while sending a little shade Lane Kiffin’s way.

Kelly opened his press conference by thanking Coca-Cola as a sponsor and the products the company has to offer.

“Just a shout-out to our sponsor, Coke,” Kelly said. “Smartwater, great Coke product. Minerals, vitamins.

“It’s just great for you. It’s refreshing. Healthy, and Coke provides you all the products that you need, depending on what you like, and I love Smartwater.”

The reference was, of course, to the Ole Miss coach’s Monday press conference when, during a pause in questions, looked at the bottle and asked the assembled media, “Does anyone drink Coke?

“You guys have 130 percent of your sugar for your entire day is in this one bottle.”
