Boy shot late Tuesday morning in Montgomery, police say
A boy was taken to the hospital after he was shot late Tuesday morning in Montgomery, police said.
Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the 2300 block of East South Boulevard around 11:25 a.m. Tuesday on a call of a person shot, said Maj. Saba Coleman.
At the scene, authorities found a boy suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, said Coleman.
The boy, whose exact age was not released, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Further information was unavailable as police continued to investigate the shooting.
