Boy critical after being shot in Montgomery, police say
A boy is fighting for his life after being shot Wednesday night in Montgomery, police said.
Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the 000 block of West South Boulevard around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday on a call of a person shot, said Maj. Saba Coleman.
At the scene, police found the boy suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Persons of interest were taken into custody, Coleman said; investigators are determining their involvement in the incident.
