Boy, 16, charged with capital murder in Montgomery slaying of another teen
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with capital murder in the fatal shooting of another teenager last month in Montgomery, police said Tuesday.
The suspect, who was not publicly identified, was taken into custody Tuesday, said Maj. Saba Coleman. He is being held in the Montgomery County jail without bond.
The teen allegedly shot another 16-year-old boy on Sept. 10 in the 100 block of Gazebo East Drive. Police initially said the shooting occurred in the 100 block of Eastdale Road South.
A man was also found injured at the scene. He suffered non-life-threatening wounds, police said.
