A window washer has died after they fell from a high-rise building in Boston’s Financial District on Monday, according to the Boston Police Department.

Police got a call for a worker who fell from a building in the area of 100 Sumner St. right before 8 a.m. on Oct. 23

Upon arrival, the worker was pronounced dead. The window washer fell “an unknown amount of stories,” police told MassLive.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was said to be investigating along with the Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

No other information was available.
