Birmingham’s Iron Tribe Fitness plans 5 new locations, including one in Alabama
Birmingham-based Iron Tribe Fitness is planning to open five new locations in 2023, including one in Auburn.
The chain, which was founded in Homewood in 2010 after beginning in a converted garage, currently has 29 gyms across eight states, with eight in Alabama. More than two-thirds of them are owned and operated by franchisees, according to the company.
Other development deals have already been signed for gyms in Tampa, Charleston, and Nashville.
Iron Tribe Fitness founder and CEO Forrest Walden said the company is ready to go “to heights never seen before.”
“We’re committed to helping busy men and women all across our communities get the most out of every workout and have a great time in the process,” Walden said.
Iron Tribe Fitness offers two workout options – a 45-minute functional training group class limited to 16 participants, and a hands-on, semi-private customized training session with 5-person groups.
