Complaints about what many are calling predatory towing continue to crop up on social media in Birmingham as attorneys hit a roadblock in a class-action lawsuit against downtown towing company Parking Enforcement Systems (PES).

In the wake of the suit, Birmingham area legislators are also discussing a possible solution to the city’s persisting towing issues, but it is still in early stages, according to Alabama’s District 57 Rep. Patrick Sellers, D- Pleasant Grove.
