Although the institution is set to close this spring, Birmingham Southern College (BSC) was recently ranked among the top seven private universities in Alabama.

In a list compiled by Stacker from data off of ranking site Niche.com, BSC was named the sixth best private college in the state. According to Stacker, Niche created their ranking based on factors like academics, value for money, professors, campus, and diversity.
