Birmingham police are asking for the public’s help in finding whoever shot a man to death on the porch of an Inglenook home in 2022.

Litfelton Alexander Frost, 32, died on Oct. 27, 2022.

Birmingham police received a 911 call around 4:30 p.m. that Thursday about a person shot in the 4100 block of 38th Avenue North.

Officers found Frost unresponsive on the porch of a house. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 4:47 p.m.

Investigators believe Frost was standing on the front porch when he was shot from a passing vehicle. The shooter then drove away.

Frost was Birmingham’s 123rd homicide that year.
