Authorities are searching for a man who has been missing in Birmingham since late last week.

Jason Michael Cameron, 43, was last seen Friday, June 23, at Firehouse Shelter o Second Avenue North.

Birmingham police said Cameron left the location walking and has not been heard from since then. He suffers from mental illness, police said.

Cameron was wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. He is 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.
