Bill Belichick’s girlfriend shuts down CBS News interview questions about how they met
Jordon Hudson shut down a line of questioning to North Carolina coach and former New England coach Bill Belichick about how the two met.
A video clip of Belichick’s interview with CBS Sunday Morning’s Tony Dokoupil went viral after the 24-year-old was monitoring the interview.
“I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks,” the 73-year-old Belichick said. “Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right.”
Dokoupil asked Belichick how he and Hudson met, and she cut in saying, “We’re not talking about this.”
Dokoupil then asked, “No?” and Hudson responded, “No.”
The former NFL coach was notorious for being a tough interview during his time in New England. On Sunday, he did admit he could have been more accommodating.
“I understand they have a tough job,” Belichick said, per CBS Sports. “On the other side, as a coach, you have a job to do, too. There are times when I could have been more accommodating. I admit that.
“You just gotta turn the page and more forward. As much as they want to dig deeper and deeper into the grave and see what more is down there, at some point you just gotta look ahead and move on.”
