Big change may be coming to some Taco Bell locations
It looks like breakfast may be a thing of the past at some Taco Bell locations.
Starting this fall, some Taco Bell locations will no longer serve breakfast. According to All Recipes, the chain recently announced that some of its franchise-owned restaurants will no longer serve breakfast. The change is set to take place in October.
According to USA TODAY, Taco Bell gave its franchises the choice to opt out of serving breakfast so that both parties “have the flexibility to focus on key drivers of growth.”
“Taco Bell is constantly evolving our menu to better serve our franchisees, team members and fans,” the company said. “With that said, breakfast will continue to be served in the majority of Taco Bell restaurants as only a small minority have opted out of serving breakfast.”
According to the report, 500 Taco Bell that are company-owned will continue to serve breakfast. All locations will open at 9 a.m. or earlier to serve other items even if they opted out of breakfast service, the reports indicate.
