Biden: Trump âparrotedâ Hitler in saying immigrants are âpoisoning the blood of our countryâ
Former president Donald Trump, whole speaking Saturday at a rally in Durham, N.H., said immigrants coming to the United States were “poisoning the blood of country.”
The Biden campaign released a statement saying the remarks “parroted Adolf Hitler,” according to NBC News.
“They poison mental institutions and prisons all over the world not just in South America… but all over the world they’re coming into our country from Africa, from Asia,” Trump said of immigrants.
“Trump used the same “poisoning the blood” language during an interview with The National Pulse, a right-leaning website,” Reuters reported. “It prompted a rebuke from the Anti-Defamation League, whose leader, Jonathan Greenblatt, called the language “racist, xenophobic and despicable.”
“Donald Trump channeled his role models as he parroted Adolf Hitler, praised Kim Jong Un, and quoted Vladimir Putin while running for president on a promise to rule as a dictator and threaten American democracy,” Biden-Harris 2024 spokesperson Ammar Moussa said, according to Forbes.
