Federal funds are now available to fix damage from nine tornadoes that hit Alabama in March after President Biden on Friday approved a major disaster declaration for the state.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency announced that federal funding will aid recovery efforts in areas of Alabama affected by nine tornadoes and other storms from March 24 through 27.

Federal funding is also available for storm planning statewide, according to FEMA.
