Better Than Ezra has long had a loyal fan base in Mobile, and the New Orleans rockers are about to return with their first full album of new music in a decade.

The band, known for its intelligent yet playful lyrics and inventive musicality, released “Super Magick” on May 3. It’s a collection of fun, thoughtful, guitar-driven pop with an uplifting, affirmative mindset about the way life goes on. The band will bring it to Soul Kitchen Music Hall on May 24.
