Every year I wish I still had that picture book. It’s around here somewhere, or maybe I gave it to a friend with a small child or grandchild nearby. In this age of book banning, it surely could not offend anybody, but people have a way of finding offense when none is intended. Our library used to have a copy, but now they have just the DVD. It was a popular book, the children’s librarian told me, checked out all holiday season.
