Best Alabama and Auburn teams of all time face off in reader poll

Over the past few weeks, AL.com has run a series of polls voted on by Alabama and Auburn fans to determine the best football teams in each program’s history.

The fans have spoken and the two teams selected were the 2020 Alabama team and the 2004 Auburn team. Both were expected to make deep runs through their respecitve brackets. 2020 Alabama defeated 1992 Alabama in the championship with 66 percent of the votes, and 2004 Auburn defeated 2010 Auburn in the other championship with 65 percent of the votes.

What could AL.com possibly do to make it more interesting? How about a best team of all time Iron Bowl. It will be the 2020 Alabama Crimson Tide vs the 2004 Auburn Tigers. Voting will take place May 30- June 2 exclusively on AL.com.
