Bed Bath & Beyond closing 62 more stores, including 1 in Alabama
Troubled retailer Bed Bath & Beyond has announced more store closures, including one Alabama location.
The list includes 62 new Bed Bath & Beyond stores slated for closure. Those stores are in addition to the 56 closing stores announced in September.
Among the new batch slated for closure is the Bed Bath & Beyond location on Cox Creek Parkway in Florence. No other Alabama stores are on the list. A timeframe for store closures has not been announced but are expected by late January, according to Axios.

New Jersey-based Bed Bath & Beyond warned last week that it was considering bankruptcy amid concerns it would not have enough cash to cover expenses and troubles getting enough merchandise to fill shelves.
As of late November, the company had 949 stores, including 762 Bed Bath & Beyond stores, 137 buybuyBaby stores and 50 Harmon, Harmon Face Values or Face Values locations.
