Be prepared for gusty winds in Alabama early Wednesday morning
A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 2:23 a.m. for gusty winds until 4:30 a.m. for Marion, Lamar, Fayette, Winston, Walker, Pickens and Tuscaloosa counties.
“A wake low will produce gusty winds across northwestern portions of Central Alabama. Winds may briefly gust from 30 to 40 MPH over the next couple of hours. If winds look to last longer than anticipated, a Wind Advisory may be warranted,” states the weather service.
