Baseball, softball players will have a new place to train in Baldwin County

A baseball and softball training facility has received approval from the Baldwin County Planning Commission. Future plans call for Coastal Sports Academy to be developed on 2.75 acres at 13621 Baldwin County 64 in the Loxley area.

A local investor paid $515,000 for a 7,200-square-foot building at 7224 Theodore Dawes Road in Theodore, according to Brandon Broadus and Pete Riehm of CRE Mobile, who represented the seller. Tire City & Automotive Repair will continue to operate in the leased space. Joselyne Ridings of Ridings Realty worked for the buyer.

A local investor paid $320,000 for a 1,400-square-foot house at 205 Congress St., in Mobile and it will be used as an office, according to James Henderson of Realty Executives Bay Group, who represented the seller. Mark Minnaert of Gulf States Real Estate Services worked for the buyer.
