’Bar Rescue’ star’s Taffer’s Tavern is coming to Alabama
A location of Taffer’s Tavern, the restaurant franchise founded by Jon Taffer, a longtime hospitality consultant and star of Paramount Network’s “Bar Rescue,” is coming to Montgomery.
Taffer’s Tavern made the announcement earlier this month on the restaurant’s social media accounts.
According to FSR Magazine, restaurant franchisee and proprietor Nivea Patel is leading the venture to bring the Old World-inspired pub to Alabama.
Taffer’s Tavern is one of the brands under Fransmart, a franchise development company at the helm of growing businesses such as The Halal Guys and Slapfish.
Currently, there is one location of Taffer’s Tavern in three different states— Alpharetta, Ga., Watertown, Mass., and Washington, D.C. According to the restaurant website, Montgomery is one of four upcoming locations, including Las Vegas, Gainesville, Fla., and Savannah, Ga.
The tavern’s menu offers a range of burgers and sandwiches, as well as larger entrees including braised short ribs and strip steak.
In the report from FSR, Taffer said he was excited to bring the modern eatery to Alabama.
“Our advanced kitchen systems and fast ticket times make us the perfect fit for residents and groups of any thriving community like Montgomery is,” said Taffer. “We can’t wait to find a new home there and to grow throughout the state and region.”
An opening date for the Montgomery restaurant has not been announced.
