Baldwin County planning commission approves subdivision to be built over dirt pit

The Baldwin County Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday approved Phase II of Savannah Estates, a subdivision in Belforest, off County Road 64 and adjacent to The Reserve at Daphne, another subdivision.

When it’s fully constructed, Savannah Estates will total 352 lots, according to county records, but the second phase of development is 121 lots. The planning commission already approved a planned residential development for the full subdivision in 2020.
