The Baldwin County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider Thursday a new subdivision outside of Magnolia Springs that, despite being only 58 lots, has drawn concern about a sewer utility’s ability to handle the extra load.

“When planning commissioners take it upon themselves to take on an engineering role, I don’t think that’s right,” Greg Kennedy, the developer of the subdivision, said. “We did everything right, they just tabled it arbitrarily.”
