A Baldwin County man is facing multiple charges of possession of child pornography.

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Charles McMahon on Monday, according to a release from the department.

The evidence collected during the search, coupled with investigation, found McMahon used the internet to view, download and possess sexually explicit image of young children, according to the BCSO.

McMahon was taken into custody and charged with five counts of possession of obscene matter containing visual depiction of persons under the age of 17.

The sheriff’s office was aided in the investigation by Homeland Security Investigations’ Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
