Tallassee police are looking for a man in connection with a murder that took place Wednesday.

Robdarius Ronkevious Smith, 31, also known as “Rah Rah,” is described as standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police say he was last seen Wednesday at 5:56 p.m. in the 100 block of Washington Street in Tallassee. His last known address is 2701 Auburn Road in Tallassee.

Smith is being sought in connection with a shooting death at about 5:54 p.m. on Washington Street Wednesday.

The victim, whose name has not been released, died from his wounds. According to police, an AR-15 style pistol was used in the shooting.

Tallassee, Eclectic and Tuskegee police, the Tallapoosa and Macon County sheriff’s offices and the U.S. Marshals Task Force are working on the investigation.
