Australian Open women’s semifinals live stream (1/26): How to watch online, TV, time, schedule

Victoria Azarenka faces Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina in one of two women’s semifinals at the Australian Open on Thursday, Jan. 26. The Australian Open matches will be live streamed on fuboTV (free trial) and Sling (half off the first month).

Azarenka continues her quest for a third Australian Open title a decade after her last championship at Melbourne Park

No. 5-seeded Aryna Sabalenka plays unseeded Magda Linette in the other.

Now 33, Azarenka won the 2012 and 2013 titles in Australia but she has not been back to the final four since. Azarenka has beaten three Americans — 2020 Australian champion Sofia Kenin, Madison Keys and No. 3 Jessica Pegula — en route to her first semifinal appearance in a Grand Slam tournament since the 2020 U.S. Open.

Rybakina’s path included victories against 2022 runner-up Danielle Collins and No. 1 Iga Swiatek. Rybakina beat Azarenka in straight sets in their only previous meeting. Sabalenka is 9-0 so far in 2023 and won both previous contests against Linette, including at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

When is the Australian Open?

The Australian Open continues at 2:30 a.m. (3:30 a.m. ET) on Thursday, Jan. 26.

Will it be live streamed?

FuboTV

The game will be live streamed on fuboTV, which offers a free trial. The most basic of plans is the “fubo standard” package, which comprises 121-plus channels for $69.99 per month. Like all cord-cutting alternatives, there are plenty of options, especially for sports. It comes with more than 1,000 hours of cloud-based DVR, and up to 10 screens at once.

SlingTV

SlingTV is also one of the cheaper live streaming services. It offers three different channel packages for its users: Sling Orange, Sling Blue and Sling Orange + Blue.

All three packages are offering half off the first month.

Sling Blue and Sling Orange are both $40 per month, but offer different channel selections.

The main difference between the two packages is the line of ESPN channels offered with Sling Orange as opposed to channels such as Fox News, MSNBC, Discovery and Bravo offered with Sling Blue.

Meanwhile, Sling Orange + Blue is both packages combined for $55 a month.

What TV channel will broadcast?

The Australian Open will be broadcast on ESPN.
