Auburn women’s basketball guard will enter transfer portal, per report

Auburn women’s basketball guard Taliah Scott plans to enter the transfer portal according to On3 sports.

The sophomore averaged 20.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and two steals per game in three games this season, before suffering a wrist injury.

Scott joins Yakiya Milton on the list of Tigers who transferred out since the firing of former coach Johnnie Harris.

As a freshman at Arkansas, Scott averaged 22.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.

Coming out of St. Johns Country Day School in Orange Park, Fla. in 2023, Scott was named a McDonald’s All-American, Florida’s Gatorade Player of the Year, Florida Dairy Farmer’s Miss Basketball and was a Naismith High School Girls Basketball honorable mention.
