Auburn’s Gunner Britton was the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after playing left guard, right tackle and left tackle during a 59-14 victory over Middle Tennessee. California’s Brian Driscoll won the Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Week Award as the Golden Bears’ left guard in a 58-21 victory over North Texas.

3 TD runs for Auburn QB Robby Ashford in the second quarter of the Tigers’ 59-14 victory over Massachusetts last week. Ashford scored on runs of 10 yards, 1 yard and 4 yards as Auburn expanded a 10-7 lead to a 31-7 advantage in a span of 10:13. Ashford became the first Auburn quarterback to run for three touchdowns in a game since Cam Newton in a 65-43 victory over Arkansas on Oct. 16, 2010. Newton ran for 188 yards on 25 carries in that game. Ashford had 51 yards on nine rushing attempts.

3 Consecutive victories for California against SEC opponents. The Golden Bears beat Tennessee 45-31 in 2007 and Ole Miss 27-16 in 2017 and 28-10 in 2019. California has a 6-16 record against SEC opponents, including 3-1 at home. Only one of the meetings has come in a bowl – the Bears’ 13-0 victory over Alabama in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1, 1938.
