Auburn safety Cayden Bridges no longer on the roster, source confirms
Auburn redshirt sophomore safety Cayden Bridges is no longer on the team’s roster, a source with direct knowledge confirmed to AL.com.
No reason was given for why Bridges was removed.
The news, which was first reported by Brian Stultz of Auburn Rivals, comes roughly a week before Auburn opens fall camp practices.
Bridges played in 12 games last year and totaled 19 tackles along with one pass defended and one fumble recovery.
With Bridges no longer on the team, only two players — running back Jarquez Hunter and offensive lineman Gunnar Langlo — remain from Auburn’s 2021 signing class.
