Auburn NFL roundup: Anders Carlson finishes Packersâ upset
Green Bay kicker Anders Carlson made two fourth-quarter field goals to finish off the Packers’ 27-19 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.
With the Packers holding a 2-point lead, Carlson connected from 40 yards out with 6:03 to play, then put through a 48-yarder with 1:09 remaining to extend the advantage to eight points.
Carlson also made three extra points on Sunday as the Packers got to 6-6 by upending Kansas City.
A sixth-round draft choice, Carlson had made 17 of his 21 field-goal attempts during his rookie season.
Carlson was among the 15 former Auburn players who got on the field on the 13th Sunday of the NFL’s 104th season.
Three other former Auburn players were involved in the Kansas City-Green Bay game:
· Packers safety Rudy Ford (New Hope) made one tackle and broke up one pass.
· Chiefs offensive tackle Prince Tega Wanogho (Edgewood Academy) is on injured reserve and not eligible to play.
· Packers defensive lineman Colby Wooden did not record any stats.
In the other Sunday games:

· Chargers long snapper Josh Harris handled the snaps on eight punts and two field goals.
· Jonathan Jones started at left cornerback for the Patriots. Jones made six tackles and broke up one pass.
Atlanta Falcons 13, New York Jets 8
· Jets defensive end Carl Lawson was designated as a game-day inactive.
· Jamien Sherwood started at linebacker for the Jets. Sherwood made two tackles in his second start of the season.
· C.J. Uzomah started at tight end for the Jets. Uzomah did not record any stats.
Arizona Cardinals 24, Pittsburgh Steelers 10
· Steelers nose tackle Montravius Adams was designated as a game-day inactive. An ankle injury kept Adams out of the lineup for the fourth game in a row.
· Cardinals inside linebacker Owen Pappoe made two tackles.
Indianapolis Colts 31, Tennessee Titans 28 (OT)
· Titans defensive tackle Marlon Davidson (Greenville) is on the practice squad and not eligible to play.
· Roger McCreary (Williamson) started at cornerback for the Titans. McCreary made five tackles and broke up one pass.
· Braden Smith started at right offensive tackle for the Colts.
· Titans quarterback Malik Willis was designated as a game-day inactive.
Miami Dolphins 45, Washington Commanders 15
· Dolphins defensive tackle Byron Cowart is on the practice squad and not eligible to play.
· Dolphins wide receiver Anthony Schwartz is on the practice squad and not eligible to play.
Houston Texans 22, Denver Broncos 17
· Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham dressed for the game but did not play.
· Texans offensive tackle Kilian Zierer is on injured reserve and not eligible to play.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 21, Carolina Panthers 18
· K.J. Britt (Oxford) started at linebacker for the Buccaneers. Britt made two tackles before leaving his first NFL start because of a back injury.
· Derrick Brown started at defensive end for the Panthers. Brown made four tackles and registered two quarterback hits.
· Carlton Davis started at cornerback for the Buccaneers. Davis made five tackles.
· Buccaneers cornerback Jamel Dean was designated as a game-day inactive. Ankle and foot injuries kept Dean out of the lineup for a second straight game.
· Panthers outside linebacker Eku Leota did not record any stats.
· Panthers linebacker Chandler Wooten is on injured reserve and not eligible to play.
San Francisco 49ers 42, Philadelphia Eagles 19
· Eagles offensive lineman Jack Driscoll did not record any stats.
Week 13 started on Thursday night, when the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Seattle Seahawks 41-35.
Week 13 concludes on Monday, when the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars square off at 7:15 p.m. CDT at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. ABC and ESPN will televise the game.
