Auburn incoming transfer forward withdraws from 2025 NBA Draft
Another piece of Auburn basketball’s 2025-2026 roster became solidified on Tuesday.
UCF transfer Keyshawn Hall withdrew from the NBA Draft, officially confirming his status on next year’s roster. The NBA released its official list of the 106 players who have filed as early entry candidates for the NBA Draft on Tuesday, and Hall’s name was not included.
Hall initially declared for the draft on March 25 and entered the transfer portal three days later. That eventually led him to Auburn, becoming Bruce Pearl and the staff’s first commitment out of the portal.
Hall led the Big 12 in scoring at UCF last season, averaging 18.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. At 6-foot-7, 235 pounds, he can play multiple positions for Auburn.
“He is just a matchup nightmare for the opponent,” Pearl said in a release. “I thought the biggest factor in his decision was his desire to finish out his college career on top and win a championship.”
With Hall now withdrawn from the draft, Auburn is still waiting on one more decision from a returning player. Tahaad Pettiford’s name was included on the list released by the NBA, after he declared for the draft while maintaining his college eligibility shortly after the Auburn’s Final Four exit.
Pettiford has until May 28 to withdraw from the draft to retain his college eligibility.
