Auburn football weather: Chilly in Nashville for Tigers
Auburn is set to face Maryland at 1 p.m. CDT today (Saturday) in Nashville’s Nissan Stadium at the Music City Bowl.
It will be a raw day for football in Nashville, but no rain (or any frozen precipitation) is expected, according to forecasters.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a high of 47 degrees today with mostly cloudy skies.
The temperature is expected to drop overnight to the freezing point (32 degrees).
At game time, scheduled for 1 p.m. CST, the weather service is forecasting the temperature to possibly be as warm as it will get today — 47 degrees. But the game’s end temperatures could drop, but only by a degree or two.
The wind will make it feel colder, however. The weather service is forecasting winds to be out of the west-southwest at under 10 mph, but that could make it feel like the lower 40s for those at the game.
Skies are expected to be mostly cloudy, but there will be little to no chances for any rain.
