Auburn football to play Jacksonville State in 2026
Auburn football has its third nonconference opponent for the 2026 season.
The Tigers will face Jacksonville State for the second time ever on Sept. 26, 2026, Jacksonville State athletics director Greg Seitz confirmed to AL.com.
The Anniston Star first reported the news.
The last time the two teams faced was in 2015, when then-FCS Jacksonville State took Auburn to overtime, but lost 27-20.
Auburn’s other two scheduled nonconference games in 2026 come against Baylor (Sept. 5) and Southern Miss (Sept. 12).
