With all the blunders last season in the Tigers kicking game, Auburn football gained a commit from Southern Miss kicker Connor Gibbs out of the transfer portal.

Last season, Gibbs connected on 10 of 13 field goal attempts and drilled three from 50+ yards.

Gibbs will be joining Ian Vachon who ended the season as the primary place kicker and rising sophomore Towns McGough.

2023 starting kicker Alex McPherson was sidelined majority of the last season recovering from a gastrointestinal illness. His status for next season is currently unknown.
